Wavegenics is a seed stage company based in Tacoma, Washington.  We are currently developing our patented technology for harnessing the power of ocean waves and converting it to usable electricity for delivery to the grid.   Our goal is to install arrays of our Ocean Wave Height Amplifier Platform (OWHAP) devices for commercial energy conversion.  We initially hope to complete a 2MW site  by 2012, with an end goal of assembling multiple large-scale sites with production capacities of 50MW or more.

The efficiency and simplicity of our technology means we will be able to rapidly reach production readiness, and will be able to achieve all necessary certifications with minimal costs.  We will be able to offer highly competitive prices per Kwh within 5 years.
